📣 GHS Parents and Families:

Mrs. Himes would like to share a Parent Newsletter that will be sent out monthly or bi-monthly to help you stay connected and informed. This will be provided in a PDF format via email, so please be sure to check the email that is on file and used for your student's WVEIS information system.

Each edition will highlight upcoming dates and events, important reminders, and resources to help you support your GHS student throughout the year.

As always, your GHS School Counselors are here for you. If you or your student need anything, questions, guidance, or support, please don’t hesitate to reach out. 💙

Today, Taylor County Schools proudly hosted the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) Regional Math Training. We welcomed K–5 teachers from across our county and neighboring counties for a day focused on building math instruction excellence.

Participants explored valuable math resources and strategies designed to strengthen student understanding and application of key math concepts.

A heartfelt thank-you to all the educators who joined us for this collaborative learning experience and to the WVDE for partnering with us to support high-quality math education across the region!
