🎉 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! 🎉 Grafton High School Spanish students are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with fun and cultural activities! 🇪🇸🌎 One of the highlights was a Dance Therapy Workshop, where students learned and experienced different traditional Latin dances — cumbia, salsa, and merengue. 💃🕺 They also got to experience “La Hora Loca” (The Crazy Hour), a fun and energetic tradition at many Hispanic parties where, around 2 a.m., everyone puts on masks, colorful necklaces, and follows a leader in a lively celebration that lasts until dawn! 🎭🎶 We are proud of our students for embracing culture through movement, music, and joy!

A little staff appreciation treat to celebrate the great start to the year!

This is a reminder to all who signed up for the Financial Aid Workshop that the main entrance doors will open at 4:45 pm and the event will be held in the GHS Library on the 2nd floor beginning promptly at 5:00 pm. Please be sure to bring electronic devices to fill out the FAFSA. Students need to have their school issued iPads.

🍪 Homecoming Dance Donations Needed! 💃🕺

GHS families — we need your help to make this year’s Homecoming Dance a sweet success! 💛💙

We’re asking for snack and drink donations to help keep our students fueled and having fun throughout the night. Think chips, cookies, desserts, water, juice, or other non-soda drinks. 🧃🍪

🕒 Donations can be dropped off any time during school hours at the GHS Main Office. Be sure to label the items "GHS Homecoming"

Your support means so much and helps us make sure our kids have a great time at the dance! Thank you for helping us keep the Bearcat spirit strong 🐾💛

Mark your calendars! The GHS Homecoming Parade will be held on Wednesday, October 15th in Downtown Grafton at 6:00 pm. Lineup will be at 5:30 pm for participants.💛💙

Bring your family, friends, and plenty of school spirit as we celebrate our community together! Don’t forget to bring a bag — there will be lots of goodies tossed your way! 🍬

We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s parade will feature not only Grafton High School students, teams, and organizations and the Bearcubs organization, but also Taylor County Middle School! Let’s give them a big Bearcat welcome as we all come together to celebrate Homecoming 2025!

LAST CALL CLASS OF 2026: Please make sure that you register for the Financial Aid Night that will be occurring at GHS in the library from 5-7 pm on Wednesday. This is a great resource for families to get questions answered regarding the FAFSA.

REMINDER- FSA IDs must be created prior to Wednesday. Please be sure that you do this prior to coming to the Financial Aid Night.
