Grafton High School’s **Back to School Night** is coming up on **Monday, August 24, 2026!**
🎓 **5:00–6:00 PM | Freshmen & New Student Orientation**
📍 GHS Auditorium
All freshmen and new students are invited to meet GHS administrators and counselors, learn more about GHS, walk through their schedules, meet teachers, and get familiar with the school. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend!
🏫 **6:00–7:00 PM | Back to School Night for ALL GHS Students**
Students and families will have the opportunity to meet teachers and staff, walk through schedules, learn about expectations for the new school year, and explore the many **clubs, organizations, and athletic opportunities** available at GHS.
There will also be organizations, teams, and local vendors including Spring 4 Customs, Tees by B, and T's Tasty Treats set up in the Commons area with Bearcat spirit gear, refreshments, treats, and more! 💙💛
We can’t wait to welcome our Bearcats back home! 🐾

Planning to drive to school?
A parking permit is required for all students who park on school property during the school day. We will begin checking vehicles for parking passes on September 7th.
Juniors may begin purchasing parking permits on Monday, August 31. Permits can be purchased through our online payment system or in the school office.
Parking permit paperwork must be submitted to the office to receive the pass.



Special Education Parent/Guardian Survey
Parents and guardians of students with IEPs and encouraged to complete the Special Education Parent/Guardian Survey. Your feedback provides valuable insight that helps strengthen special education services and programs.

⏰ Only 10 days left to make sure your required vaccinations are up to date before the start of the school year!
✅ All incoming 12th graders must provide proof of a Tdap vaccine and a meningococcal booster if their first meningococcal vaccine was received before age 16.
✔️ If the first meningococcal dose was given on or after the student's 16th birthday, a booster is not required.
Please review the letter sent home and ensure all state immunization requirements are met. Don't wait until the last minute! 💉📚

📣 Senior Paint Your Space Rescheduled 📣
After reviewing the weather forecast, the Grafton High School Senior Paint Your Space event has been rescheduled to next week.
🎨 Paint Party Details
📅 August 18
⏰ 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
To participate, students must bring the following to the paint party:
✅ Completed parking permit application
✅ Parking space design
✅ $40 parking fee
✅ Copy of driver's license
✅ Copy of insurance card
The school office will be open and available to make copies if needed.
💻 Parking fees may also be paid in advance through the Grafton High School website using the Online School Payments link.

All incoming 12th graders MUST show proof of a dose of the Tdap vaccine and a booster dose of the meningococcal vaccine, if the first dose of meningococcal was given before the child's 16th birthday. If the first dose was given after the 16TH birthday, then a booster dose is not required.
Please read the enclosed letter for more information to ensure you are up to date with state health requirements.






Students and families are invited to join us for our Back-to-School Bash on Sunday, August 16, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Fairgrounds!
This FREE event is a great way to get ready for the new school year while enjoying an afternoon of fun. Attendees can look forward to:
