Being precise in math means more than just getting the right answer ā itās about using the correct labels, careful calculations, clear explanations, and thoughtful communication. These skills are important not only in the classroom, but in real life too ā like during Bridge Day, where safety and accuracy truly matter! Jonathan Ady, who attended Grafton High in the Nineties, visited the GHS library to talk about his newly published book, Green Hills Of Magic, which highlights the beauty of WV. There's even a little feature on Grafton. Some of the kids got to talk to Ady about their desire to create and publish on their own someday. Ady signed a school copy of the book, which was donated to the high school library by the teacher sorority Alpha Delta Kappa, in honor of Martha Rose Roy, local educator. Mr. Ady even brought some of his stickers and cards with his graphic designs to share with the kids. It was a great visit, and we're hoping he'll stop by again someday in the future. Once A Bearcat, Always A Bearcat.
