Thank you to Elisa Rush for visiting and sharing her background this afternoon. She visited Mrs. Ward's computer lab and was able to talk with a combination of Digital Imaging and Multimedia Year 1 and 2 students as well as a few seniors from Ms. Thobois' art class. Ms. Rush is a 2010 graduate of GHS and obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art and Design from West Virginia University.
Ms. Rush shared some of her work samples as well as her inspirations. Students were able to ask a variety of questions about the industry. You can find Elisha on Facebook at Spring Fox Studios and online at www.elisharush.com.

Congratulations to GHS Sophomore, Violet Rubenstein, for being selected as the Viewer's Choice Award winner for this year's play!
Violet played the role of Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast Jr. and did phenomenal in her role. Well done, Violet!

The GHS Zoo Trip has been rescheduled for next week on Thursday, May 4th.
We will meet in the Commons outside of the Scotty Hamilton Gymnasium at 7:45 am and will be returning at 4:30 pm. Please be sure to have transportation upon returning.
We look forward to this great trip and thank all who helped make it happen!

There was a meeting held for Seniors yesterday during AA. We discussed graduation requirements in regards to 2nd semester grades, cap decorating, upcoming Senior events, and senior awards forms.
There is a permission form that needs to be filled out in order to attend the Kennywood field trip. They are due to Mrs. Shaffer in the main office next Wednesday, May 3rd.
Each senior is given the opportunity to fill out a scholarship/award form and return it to Mrs. Himes by Monday. This form is for anyone who is receiving awards or scholarships who would like us to contact a representative from the institution or organization to award them. This is not a guarantee that a representative will be able to attend, but rather we'd like to attempt to get someone to award the seniors for their achievements.

Military Signing Week 2023
Congratulations to senior, Jordan Niggemyer, who has selected the Navy as part of her future.
Good luck Jordan. We are proud of you.
