Thank you WVU STEAM TAC for helping us to "Code a Better Path" last week! Specialists, Angie and Erica, visited Mrs. Ward's Coding 1 and Coding 2 classes this past Wednesday and Thursday. Given the scenario, students used their computer skills to plan, design, and model components of the New River Gorge Personal Rapid Transit System. An Intelino J-1 Smart Train and micro:bit technologies were used to propose solutions to traffic congestion at popular attractions within the New River Gorge National Park. https://steamtac.wvu.edu/classroom-immersions/high-school-immersions/coding-a-better-path #WVUSTEAMTAC #CS4WV

Check out these 3-D mascots made by our own Mr. Rucker. They are currently hiding around Grafton High School, and each of them holds a scroll with a prize written on it. If a student finds one, they should come to administrator to claim the prize and return the mini Bearcat. The Bearcat will be hid again so other students have an opportunity to find him and win a prize this week. Happy homecoming week Bearcats!
