This year’s Grafton High School Chili Cookoff will be Wednesday, February 14 in the Mary Battle Studio. There is a $5 entry fee. You will need to cook at least 5 quarts of chili. Electrical outlets, cups, and serving spoons will be provided. You will need to bring a meat thermometer to ensure a temperature of 165 degrees. Two awards will be given: People's Choice and Judge's Choice. Good luck!
Chefs entering will be serving their delightful chili to guests from 5:30 to approximately 7:30. This event will coincide with the GHS/PB boys’ basketball game.
We hope to see you there if you are cooking up chili or tasting many examples of chili.


This is a reminder that any student planning to take one or more AP tests this spring must pay the remainder of the test fee this week. It is $48 per test and can be paid at the link below. Please let us know if you need any assistance.

Young Writers Contest 2024: pick up forms from Ms. Dalton (Room 110). The submission must be in prose (no poetry). Grades 9-10: 1,000 word limit; Grades 11-12: 1,200 word limit.
Form and submission due date is February 5, 2024. Please return form and submit to Ms. Dalton on or before this date.

Bus Announcement: Bus # 73 will not run today, Thursday , Jan. 4. Middle School and High School students who normally ride that bus will be transported home on Bus # 24 or #25. Flemington students from that bus will be transported by Bus #79.

The Tech Dept will soon begin the process of issuing new 10th generation iPads to students (starting with high school students). Please make sure you have completed an iCloud backup so you dont lose any important schoolwork that might not be saved to your OneDrive.

Wednesday's spirit day is Holiday Character Day!


The Spanish classes had the opportunity to have a guest speaker from Venezuela. Sra. Andreina presented the Christmas traditions from Zulia state in Venezuela. Also, Students tasted a Christmas desert el turrón and learned about a kind of Christmas music original from the area called gaitas.









The Hispanic Honor Society had their Christmas dinner at El Rancho Mexican restaurant. All of them enjoyed the company and food. Feliz navidad! 🎄
