Back to School Fun Fair!
Dear Parents and/or Guardians,
As we prepare for the forthcoming school year, I wanted to clarify that, while you may feel inclined to donate items for your child’s school and or classroom, please know that this is not a requirement of any student or his or her family.
Any lists of “School Supplies” that you may see or hear about should be interpreted as helpful information about the kinds of items that are typically found useful within particular grade levels during the routine operations throughout the school year.
Therefore, please know that “Recommended, yet Not Required” would be the best way to interpret those messages/signs, etc., appearing on social media sites and through other means.
We understand, and appreciate that you, our citizens of Taylor County, are already contributing to our school system in several ways through your continued support and passage of our Excess Levies that include line items for such things as School Supplies.

2024 TCMS Fall Sports Start Dates
All sports will be held at TCMS unless otherwise specified.
Important Immunization Reminder for 7th & 12th Grade Students!
All students entering 7th grade are required to provide documentation of receiving 1 TDAP and 1 Meningococcal vaccine prior to starting school in August.
All students entering 12th grade are required to provide documentation of receiving 1 TDAP and 2 meningococcal vaccines prior to starting school August. *If a student received their first meningococcal vaccine after turning age 16 then only 1 meningococcal vaccine is required.
Students who do not provide documentation of receiving the required immunizations by the first day of school will not be allowed to attend.

Communities In Schools planned a GSA incentive day for the students after their week of testing. They enjoyed inflatables, games, a dunk tank, and food vendors. Thank you to Cartoon Headquarters, all of the food vendors that came out, the staff for their help, those who volunteered to get in the dunk tank, and most importantly to the students who worked hard all week testing and who were very well behaved outside. Hope you had a fun! Enjoy your summer! ☀️

‼️TCMS Boys Basketball Flex Day Info‼️
We will be having our first TCMS Basketball Flex Day on Thursday June 27th from 5-630. This will be light flex day with introductions, some demonstrations of drills you could work on during the offseason. There will NOT be any contact drills or conditioning since most kids are in multiple sports. If you are in Soccer please feel free to leave at 6-615 to get to that flex day. Please wear non marking shoes and try to not wear shoes from outside on the court. The court was just completely redone and we need to take care of it as best we can.
