Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28th, 2026, will be a Non-Traditional Instruction Day for all Taylor County Schools. This is NTI Day #3 for students. Students will learn from home and staff are to be available for support, from their assigned work site, from 10am-3pm.

Communities In Schools is hosting another Backyard Brawl on February 11th! 🏀
It’s TCMS staff vs. GHS staff in an epic showdown.
Admission is $1 per student, with concessions and additional fundraisers available throughout the event.
This fundraiser benefits both schools and helps support fun student activities and more.
Students—come out and support your teachers as they battle for the Backyard Brawl Trophy! 🏆
Due to anticipated inclement weather, the Student Council Tubing Trip scheduled for Monday, January 26th, will be postponed to Friday, February 13th.

We hope that everyone enjoys their snow day! The admin would like to give a special shout out to our head custodian John Ware. While he had the right to leave school early today as it was canceled, he chose to stay and remove the.snow on all the sidewalks and entrances for the faculty, staff and students. It's takes a village to run a Great school. Thank you for your hard work and dedication John!
