Seventh Grade Visits Prickett's Fort! 🏰
Today, our 7th-grade students traveled back in time with a visit to Prickett's Fort! Despite the rain, they had a blast exploring the daily life of early settlers.
Students got to:
🪓 Try their hand at tomahawk throwing
🛡️ Learn about militia training and frontier defense
🧒 Play traditional children’s games
🔥 Watch a live blacksmithing demonstration
🧵 Discoved the importance of the early fur trade in colonial America
It was an exciting day full of hands-on learning and discovery about 18th-century life. A huge thank you to the staff at Prickett's Fort for such an immersive and educational experience!

The admin surprised the Rachel's Challenge groups composed of 5th and 6th grade students with T Shirts. The Rachel's Challenge groups focus on "Being Kind and Putting a Stop to Bullying." These groups will continue to lead the school in Kindness and standing Strong against Bullying.

TCS Reminder: June 3rd is a full instructional day for students. June 4th is a 2 Hour Early Dismissal and the last day of school for students due to the previously scheduled faculty senate meetings.

The students had a great time celebrating the completion of the GSA testing week with some games and slides.

The Student Council had a blast at Kennywood today celebrating all of their hard work this school year!
