Menu changes for FES!
The After-School Program students will be singing for the Flemington Christmas Celebration this evening at 6:00pm. The students will be singing inside the community building due to the weather. We hope you will join us this evening!
Santa and his elves were at FES tonight to give our students a special holiday treat. Thank you to our PTO for providing Santa on the Fly!
Taylor County Schools are closed today due to road conditions.
Taylor County Schools are operating on a 2 hour delay.
This evening the Taylor Count Board of Education voted to remove the mask mandate immediately. Masks will be parent choice in school, but they must be worn on buses. Additional information will be shared once we receive a written statement from county office.

Santa’s Workshop will be visiting FES this week!
Taylor County is red on the WVDHHR map today, December 2, 2021. Therefore as passed by the Taylor County Board of Education at their August 24, 2021 meeting we will mask in all facilities and transportation for the next 14 days beginning tomorrow December 3, 2021.
Mask update for return to school on November 29, 2021 can be found in the News section of all school websites. Masks will be a personal choice and mandated on all buses as outlined by the CDC. Changes will occur if cases rise and our county is red on the WVDHHR map. Please support mitigation strategies as we continue to navigate COVID.

We are working on a winter project. We will gladly accept any gallon milk jugs that you may have! Please wash them out and send them to school!
Reminder for 4th grade parents/guardians that tomorrow (Friday 11/19) is Parent Breakfast. We will begin at 9am in the cafeteria! Hope to see you there!!
The After School kids had a blast at the movies! We could hear little whispers of worry that Clifford wasn’t going to be able to stay at his home. Thankfully, all the kids were able to have a huge sigh of relief by the end! (Probably should have mentioned *spoiler alert* 😅🤪
After School Parents:
We will be posting on Facebook this evening once we have our bus loaded and are on our way back to the school. Please stay lined up at the top parking lot until our bus pulls in and kids unload. Once the bus pulls in, you may pull down behind it!
Our Outreach Facilitator has arranged a community resource area right inside the main door. Please feel free to check out what community resources are available to your family! We are always available to help you!

We are accumulating a large number of jackets, shirts, and coats in our lost and found bin. Please let us know if your child is missing something. Chances are we have it! 🙂
