Mrs. Miller attended the WV School Safety Conference today. Speakers included Frank DeAngelo, former principal of Columbine High School, Molly Hudgens, school counselor that prevented a shooting at Sycamore Middle, Chief John Newman, Hillsborough County Security Chief and Florida Safe School specialist, Parkland School, Florida and Deputy Cabinet Secretary of WV Homeland Security, Rob Cunningham. Safety continues to be a priority of the Taylor County Board of Education and opportunities like this conference provide opportunities to learn from those who have expertise in this field.
